Sanc­tus Real has released new music from their upcom­ing album, The Face of Love, which hits stores on April 4, 2006. “I’m Not Alright” is their upcom­ing pow­er­ful radio sin­gle on Spar­row Records/EMI CMG going for adds some time next month. Cur­rently the only place to lis­ten to the new music is on HearItFirst.com or in the audio player on the home­page of this blog (click the adver­tise­ment on the side­bar to listen).

I first heard this song yes­ter­day and I imme­di­ately fell in love with the lyrics to this song. If the rest of the album is any­thing like this song, the band will have reached a great level of musi­cal per­fec­tion. Fight the Tide, the album I con­sider one of, if not the best Chris­t­ian album of the decade, is also worth check­ing out if you don’t already have the amaz­ing 2004 release.

I’ve been pretty busy lately… although some­how I’m still behind on stuff. My project for the week­end I think will be work­ing on the CastingPearls.com com­mu­nity. I’ve been work­ing a bit too much on this blog, so I’ll prob­a­bly leave it alone for a bit. Also, I have to study for my writ­ten test for my per­mit… I’m going next week to take it.

Switch­foot recently released their new radio sin­gle, “We Are One Tonight”, sup­port­ing their Noth­ing Is Sound release, and actu­ally I had not heard it, and it’s pretty good. I know most NBC affil­i­ates have used the song for the Win­ter Olympics TV pro­mos. They also released a live video… fun, huh?

Jeremy and Adri­enne Camp announced this week that they arre expect­ing their sec­ond child. Adri­enne (for­mer lead singer of the now defunct band The Ben­jamin Gate) is cur­rently six months preg­nant but that hasn’t stopped her from start­ing work on her debut solo album. Accord­ing to Jeremy Camp’s web­site, Adri­enne has six songs cur­rently recorded for the album. Her album photo shoot from Sep­tem­ber by Jeremy Cow­art is avaible here.

Speak­ing of solo stuff, Leigh Nash’s (leader singer of Six­pence None the Richer) much antic­i­pated solo album is still appar­ently in the works (expected release in June) how­ever you can catch some of her music on her Myspace and be sure to sign up for updates on her offi­cial web­site.
