Well I came across a new “alter­na­tive” press photo of the guys. It’s still weird see­ing Paul in them, although I guess that because I haven’t seen them live since either (not that I’m com­plain­ing). It just seems like the band has basi­cally gone down the tubes since the Inpop sign­ing. Granted, that’s my opin­ion, I think it just might be shared by oth­ers haha.

This photo is just a pathetic attempt at a promo shot. Where is the orig­i­nal­ity or cre­ative­ness in it? Per­haps it’s just me, but you’d think those qual­i­ties would be seem­ingly impor­tant to them. Well I’ve learned not to be sur­prised when they dis­ap­point, so really, this is no shocker.

Just to show you how unpro­fes­sional it comes across, if you look in the reflec­tion in Duncan’s glasses, you can see the pho­tog­ra­pher tak­ing the shot. Any­ways, the first thing that struck me was that Dun­can was in the cen­ter of the shot. Cor­rect me if I’m wrong, but I don’t recall that like ever in any shot… per­haps I’m just not remem­ber­ing it. Of course, Peter is in the fore­ground, but he’s not front and cen­ter (well 1 out of 2 isn’t too bad haha) for once. Did I just say that? Oh well.

Any­ways, I’ve been work­ing a lot on a new design site for myself (and hope­fully some­one else), which is excit­ing. I’ve attempted to do one before but there was really no point for one until now. I’ve got a few paid projects in the works (which is good… I mean I do most of what I do for free), and I think that the pos­si­bil­i­ties for these projects are just amaz­ing. I’m really just try­ing to pay off some host­ing bills (ads have been lack­ing lately) and just get a lit­tle bit of cash so I can actu­ally have a lit­tle money for stuff (which is always nice).

I’ve got­ten back into Evanes­cence today, I’m really lov­ing their live acoustic stuff… sim­ply amaz­ing vocals Amy has. Of course, I’m still very much into Sanc­tus Real at the moment, and prob­a­bly will be for another month or so. Their album streets on in a cou­ple weeks and I could not be more excited about this release. I’ve heard prob­a­bly about half the record and I am abso­lutly in love with every sin­gle track.
