I just real­ized that I haven’t updated in for­ever, so I fig­ured a short post wouldn’t kill me. I finally went out this morn­ing and got my per­mit, yes, almost a year after I could have. The good thing is, I finally did it and passed. It was actu­ally really really easy, which may or may not be because I hadn’t pre­vi­ously stud­ied when I had taken it, and decided to study this time. I don’t actu­ally get my per­mit until I do my six hours of dri­ving, which I believe is sched­uled for June 1^st. Not excit­ing, just an update nevertheless.

I called EMI CMG yes­ter­day about work­ing for them at Cre­ation. I haven’t spo­ken to those friendly peo­ple enough lately haha. Any­way, last year I was orig­i­nally going to work for them dur­ing Cre­ation, how­ever I decided to spent my time at Cre­ation oth­er­wise that year (which in hind­sight was prob­a­bly a good deci­sion). Well, this year since I don’t even know who I’m stay­ing with or how I’m get­ting there yet, I came to the con­clu­sion that it would be a good idea to do some work for labels. Well any­way, at least I have a ticket for myself now haha.

Cre­ation is com­ing up really fast. I seri­ously need to fig­ure out the details of that week… I think the only defi­nate detail I have at this point is I have a ride back. I have offers to go with a cou­ple groups but I don’t know… seems awk­ward to stay with a group who I don’t know any­one. So, with that being said, any­one that would like to be kind enough to let me stay with you there (since I’m not much of a ‘lone ranger’ in that kind of set­ting), it would be much appreciated.

I’m cur­rently head­ing up CastingPearls.com now, which is cool. Unfor­tu­natly some things are still out of my con­trol at this point, so it’s just fus­trat­ing wait­ing for those things to work out. Speak­ing of CP, I’ll be at the show at the Encounter Fes­ti­val at North­ern Bed­ford High School in Loys­burg, PA. It’s look­ing like it shall be a great show… plus, it’s free! If you’re in the area, you most cer­tianly should go.

Looks like I’m going to be doing some work for Warner Broth­ers Records and Gef­fen Records, which is just plain awe­some. I had a slight hes­i­ta­tion about doing work for a main­stream label, but I finally con­cluded that it’s too big of an oppor­tu­nity to pass up. At this point, I don’t know too many details, how­ever I know I’ll be doing some stuff for artists like Luna Halo and Jeremy Lis­ter. Just thought I’d share.

As far as work for my own stuff, I’ve been busy revamp­ing news­boyshead­quar­ters via the beta site. Sadly, that’s about it… I’ve been doing some ran­dom stuff, and some­how I’m crazy busy. Not really sure how.
