Well I leave this morn­ing for Illi­nois. Hope­fully I can grab a few hours of sleep before the 15-hour hike. Since I’m bored, I’ll just list a cou­ple things you peo­ple should check out, music-wise: “Makes Me Won­der”, the new sin­gle by Maroon 5 (If I were you… I’d get the radio ver­sion. If you can’t find it, I’ll hook you up). This new band called Until June put a self-titled album out that is for-sure worth check­ing out. They are prob­a­bly the best thing to come out of 2007 so far (exclud­ing new Relient K, Every­day Sun­day, and my Amer­i­can Idol Blake Lewis). Speak­ing of things to look for­ward to this year, as I men­tioned Every­day Sunday’s album comes out soon… so when it does, go buy it. Also, Cast­ing Pearls is in the stu­dio now record­ing their new album. I’ve heard the demos and an early mix to their upcom­ing sin­gle… it’s amaz­ing stuff! Although the sin­gle is directed at Chris­t­ian AC radio, it’s still extremely amaz­ing. You might also find that the back­ground vocals sound famil­iar too.
