Here’s a great song. I know I just posted another one of her songs, but as my girlfriend has so kindly pointed out… “Thank You” isn’t exactly radio-friendly. This track is much more likely to get you coming back wanting to hear more. I’m really looking forward to Mozella’s new record supportively coming out sometime in the near future. The Dandy Warhols recently released the original mixed album (The Dandy Warhols Are Sound) that Capitol Records decided to shelf back in 2003 and instead released a more clean-cut mixed album better known as Welcome to the Monkey House. Here’s my personal favorite “We Used To Be Friends”:

The press release including the quite interesting news that former guitarist Jody Davis is back in the picture reminded me of the day almost 4 years ago to date when I interviewed him. I thought I’d share the archive that’s been on my server collecting dust. It’s pretty interesting and embarrassing at the same time but hey, I was fourteen. Feels like a lifetime ago! Perhaps I should sell the unedited, uncensored, unabridged audio version on eBay. I know I’d bid on it. Anywho… here it is.

So Jody Davis is back in newsboys and Paul Colman departs. Should be interesting to see how this all pans out.

If you’re an audiophile like me, you’ll appreciate the mastered version of the newsboys single “In the Hands of God” in a high quality stream. I personally don’t like the single but whatever. I like the fact that Phil Joel’s vocals are still presumably present but that’s about it.
